Very important is a road loss of second rankedAnyang (32-18) against tenth ranked Samsung Thunders (15-35) on Saturday night. Visiting Anyang was defeated by Samsung Thunders in a tough game in Seoul 62-71 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Anyang. Worth to mention a great performance of Turkish power forward Kerem Kanter (208-1995, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Kwan-hee Lee (-1988) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) added 13 points and 7 assists in the effort for Anyang. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Seoul Thunders moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Daegu. Anyang at the other side keeps the second position with 18 games lost. Seoul Thunders will play against higher ranked Suwon KT (#7) in Busan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Anyang will play at home against the league's leader LG Sakers (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
